Built for the passive purist, and those who are particularly discerning about their tone. It has all the best features of the venerable J compiled through the years. Built with 70's position and Nordstrand NJ5 70's wind. Isolated tone and volume controls for each pickup with no loss of output. Each tone control also has individual selections for standard or light treble cut that bring the midrange forward, as well as passive mid cut filter. The light treble cut alters the resonant peak frequency of the púp, effectively functioning to the ear as a mid "boost". And just in case that's not enough, these features are also present in series, for a beefier, more mid forward presence. The limba neck thru and body give these single coils some added heft in the low end, while the pau ferro board brings back some crisp attack in the lows and highs. The finish is a translucent espresso, poly on the board. Stainless steel frets, ebony string guide/nut, zero fret to keep an even tone between open and fretted notes. Hipshot A style aluminum bridge to keep the high end airy yet crisp. Custom matching wood p'up covers. All cavities are shielded with military grade rf silver cloth, as well as the p'up windings and inside the covers. Single coils just can't get any quieter than this!  Controls are as follows: Each p'up has it's own isolated volume, tone, and toggle for selecting tone filters. The toggle selects between standard treble cut, light treble cut, and mud cut. A third toggle selects between parallel (standard J configuration) and series, which offers slightly higher output and mid forward response.
